As steam crew members worked outside readying more equipment for paint, Sam C. (left) and Dave C. (right) could be found in the cab with Alex G. working on the placement of the new Positive Train Control (PTC) screen in 3751's cab. Much like the screen found in today's modern diesel units, the Wabtec screen will utilize our in-house "LeapTC" system.
The LeapTC system displays the PTC system information in the steam locomotive cab but allows the physical computer hardware to remain on the trailing diesel unit.
