On a gloomy April 2, members of the steam crew gathered at Redondo Junction for another productive work day at "the compound." Some of the remaining pieces of piping to install on 3751 included the injector lines up to the top-check valves.
With the piping physically installed the week prior, Dave C. (left) and Mike C. were hard at work locking down the pair of unique sheetmetal coverings for these lines that travel up the sides of the boiler barrel to reach the top-check valves.
