On November 13, the steam crew worked diligently to continue preparing items for new paint (or actually painting them) before they are reinstalled on 3751. As the locomotive's cab continues to take shape, one of the items soon to be returned to its rightful place is the fireman's manifold. The manifold provides the fireman the ability to control the amount of steam used for the atomizer, blow back, tank heater and suction pipe heat.
