As announced in our February 16th press release, which can be viewed by clicking HERE, the SBRX 1517 is being prepared to travel to its new home at the Fillmore & Western Railway. As of this writing (2/18/20), the car's bearings will be inspected by the steam crew over the next week. Once this step is complete, a request will be made to the BNSF Railway for one of their railcar inspectors to come and confirm the car is ready for shipment.
