SANTA FE 3751 RETURNS TO FULLERTON RAILROAD DAYS
& PARTICIPATES IN NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:
APRIL 30 – MAY 1, 2016
The San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society (SBRHS) is pleased to announce that Santa Fe 3751 will again steam to Fullerton Railroad Days
, a free, public event taking place April 30 and May 1, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Fullerton Train Station at 120 E. Santa Fe Ave. Fullerton, CA 92832. The SBRHS’ merchandise table will also be on hand adjacent to the locomotive offering a wide selection of items, some of which will include commemorative pins celebrating the society’s 25th anniversary of 3751’s return to steam.
While on display in Fullerton, the SBRHS will host the society’s first ever, closed night photography session with 3751 to a limited number of individuals on the evening of Saturday, April 30 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the locomotive’s display area. This session will include: exclusive access to photograph 3751 under steam and other display equipment on hand following the closing of the Railroad Days event, work with reenactors dressed in period clothing to pose with the locomotive and enjoy the chance to work one-on-one with SBRHS crew members.
This night photography session will be limited to 20 individuals on a first-come, first-serve sign up basis with a suggested donation of $50. Email pre-registrations can be sent to: email@example.com and will be open until 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. Any remaining openings will be offered at the SBRHS merchandise booth. Once the 20 individual cap has been met, a notice will be posted on both our website and a Facebook account that the sign up time has closed. All proceeds go to the operating costs associated with this session and in keeping 3751 steaming for future events.
As with any 3751 outing, the SBRHS will keep our supporters and fans as up-to-date as possible on the locomotive’s movements to, during and from this event via our website, SBRHS.org and Facebook account, Santa Fe 3751.
In closing, the SBRHS would like to take this time to thank the BNSF Railway and Amtrak for facilitating the move of 3751 from Los Angeles to Fullerton and return for this event and to the Southern California Railway Plaza Association for their gracious invitation to join them again at Railroad Days in Fullerton this year.
