Support The SBRHS The SBRHS Wish List

The SBRHS is starting something new here on the official web page of the organization - it is a wish list! Yes, a wish list. The org is growing now and has some specific needs that we would like to communicate to our supporters and to the public. This list will also grow as the current development of a home/museum is under way. If you have any questions about our wishlist or would like to donate an item or volunteer you time please email the webmaster!

  1. The SBRHS is looking for a special person to take over the position of Membership Chairperson who has basic computer skills and a couple of hours a week to donate to the SBRHS.
  2. We are looking to recruit teachers and those with experience in youth program leadership or related fields so we can assemble a larger team to detail the 3751 Railroad Adventure Crew curriculum.
  3. The SBRHS is in need of a lawyer specializing in contracts.
  4. A 3/4 or full sized mill would again make the machinists in the org real proud.
  5. Any supporters with museum planning, building, operating or financing experience are invited to contact the organization to volunteer for work on the Museum Development Committee.
  6. One tool car with HEP, specifically the ex Amtrak 1006 located in Saugus, California.
  7. Hand-held oxygen sensor suitable for confined work spaces inside the boiler.
  8. 2 PowerPoint Projectors.

These items have been donated:

  1. A lathe with 8-10 inches of swing and 20 inches of length would help our machinists make and repair various parts for the locomotive. THIS ITEM HAS BEEN DONATED 4/01/06!

If you or your company would like to make a tax deductible donation to the SBRHS of these or any other items please email the webmaster with details of your donation.
