Historic San Diego Trip Is Finally A Go!!!

On Sunday, June 1st, 2008

This will be a fun filled historic train trip behind the magnificant exSanta Fe 3751 steam locomotive round trip from Los Angeles Union Station to San Diego with intermediate stops at Fullerton and Irvine.

This trip features:

• A ride behind the steam locomotive that pulled the last steam passenger train between Los Angeles and San Diego in August 1953.
• Beautiful ocean views from the train.
• Free time in either Old Town San Diego State Historic Park or downtown San Diego.

The train will leave Los Angeles Union Station at approximately 7:45 AM (exact time will be on the tickets) with a planned 11:30 AM arrival in downtown San Diego. The return trip will leave downtown San Diego at approximately 2:30 PM m with a planned 6:30 PM arrival back at Los Angeles Union Station.

We are offering three types of tickets. An Adult ticket in a standard seat, a child (13 & under) ticket in standard seat, and a Dome ticket with a seat upstairs in a historic heritage dome car.

Child ticket - $99

Dome ticket - $249
