Support The SBRHS 3751 To Kick Off Educational

Outreach Project In San Pedro

On October 30, 2004

The 3751 will be under steam and open for public tours along with a short train from 10 - 6 on Saturday, October 30 and 10 - 4 on Sunday October 31. This is in conjunction with the debut of the new SBRHS Educational Outreach Program.

The train will be located at the Pacific Harbor Line San Pedro Yard at the intersection of Harbor Blvd. and 6th St. near the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, Ports O'Call Village and the restored Red Car line (see map below). If you are unfamiliar with southern California and can not find the southern end of the 110 freeway or San Pedro then the map at the end of this page is for you.

The train will travel via the Alameda Corridor and PHL trackage. For security reasons the host railroad has requested that the route and departure/arrival times not be made public. Please use good judgement when railfaning as the harbor area is very active with trains. Visitors are reminded that the San Pedro Yard will be active with Red Car trolleys and is strictly off limits except for the designated 3751 tour area along Harbor Blvd. You can also ride the Red Cars, they will be operating from 10-6 on Saturday and Sunday.

Our special thanks go to the generous supporters of this great event -
